Position Overview
The UNA-USA Spring 2023 Post-Grad Intern will provide support for the UNA-USA Fellowship Program, which encourages a more diverse applicant pool and cultivates a new generation of Americans interested in working for the United Nations and other global organizations. Launching in Spring 2023, the program will provide financial support to interns who are selected by the United Nations (UN), and will then apply for this scholarship through UNA-USA. Consideration will be given to American students from colleges and universities that have been underrepresented in the past, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Essential Functions
Support fellowship program operations (e.g., respond to inquiries, send communications to program applicants and participants, maintain website content, etc.)
Develop a target list of contacts at HBCUs to promote the UNA-USA fellowship program
Research organizations, programs and conferences that support students at HBCUs
Work with UNA-USA communications staff to develop marketing materials and social media posts
Conduct outreach to target lists to promote UNA-USA fellowship program
Process MOUs and grants for program participants in Salesforce
Work with Senior Director of Programs & Policies to develop programs and resources for applicants and fellowship participants (e.g., how to apply for UN internships and careers sessions, SLACK groups, etc.)
Other duties as assigned.

Selection Criteria
Candidate must be a recent graduate (within 8 months of graduation) of a college or university.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy.
Must have a personal laptop computer and access to the Internet.
Must be available to work a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
